An Ominous Evening #3


Another Ominous Evening is approaching and it's accompanied by three new releases.
(Please read all the info since it's a bit different than the last two evenings)

The first release - Art Gallery Anti Klimax Tape Series
This years tape series is just one single C60 tape, which will contain 20 minutes of music from each of the three artists that's participtaing.
Once again you will hear the impeccable creations of Totenpaahle and Soviet Jazz, new for this year is Vaginia Wolf a duo consisting of PKT (SOLL and Malebreastcancerchock) and your favorite label manager himself.
The split tape will be backed by a performance from all the artists as one huge orchestra and the performance will be recorded live during the Ominous Evening.
After the gig you will be able to pre-order your own copy of the recording, on tape. A pre-order sheet will be put together and you need to attend the Ominous Evening to be able to sign it.
The tape will only be made in the same amount of units as there are names on the pre-order sheet and copies will not be sold to anyone else.

The second release - Avgrunden - Den fördömda jorden (tape)
Avgrunden performs that folkish kind of drone that we love in Earth. But they're no plain copycats, they still have enough edge of their own to make this music stand on its own feet. They manage to fill the emptiness between the notes with Bohren & Der Club of Gore-vibes and Black Sabbath-basslines.

The third release - Stillheten - The Right and God made Sun did Rise (tape)
Stillheten describes the music as acoustic folk/ambient, and succeeds in creating a wall of haunting, but beautiful, melodies that shares space with shy walls of effects. The songs paint a dark picture of woods, winds and darkening skies.

All acts will perform live to support their releases.
